Problem Solving 101

Using the LOGIC TREE ...

- Your company, Buttons!, makes buttons featuring slogans and the faces of celebrities. You have several lines, including political slogans and celebrity pets. Unfortunately, profits have been steadily declining for the last two quarters. Use a logic tree to determine possible ways to boost Buttons!' bottom line.

- You recently launched a website for your pet-grooming business, but site visits are practically non-existent. Use a logic tree to brainstorm reasons for the lack of traffic.

- There is a weird smell in your kitchen. You took out the garbage after last night's crab broil, but the smell is still there, and it's getting worse. Use a logic tree to discover the possible root causes of this horrific stench.
